Christian Seniors Association Members Speak Out on Freedom of Religion, Supreme Court and the Kavanaugh Nomination

A recent CSA survey on protecting religious freedom from Left-wing attack and the potential confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh provoked a sharp reaction among CSA members. Here are the Survey questions and the results:

  1. The Commissioner of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industry fined Aaron and Melissa Klein $135,000 because they refused to violate their conscience and provide a "wedding" cake for two lesbians. He said people like the Kleins need to be "rehabilitated." And he told the Kleins they may not speak out against homosexual "marriage." Do you consider this government official's actions to be violations of the Kleins' First Amendment rights to freedom of religion and freedom of speech?

  1. Do you believe the Supreme Court's decision to impose the legalization of so-called "same-sex marriage" on all Americans poses a clear and present danger to the First Amendment rights of Christians to practice their faith in their everyday lives?

  1. Hillary Clinton stated in 2015: "Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed." Do you consider her statement as a veiled threat to all Christians, implying that unless they "change their beliefs" the government will use whatever force necessary to make them comply?

  1. Do you believe that, in order to stop those who want to ABOLISH religious freedom in America — not just for yourself but for your grandchildren and all future Americans — it is critically important for the U.S. Senate to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the U.S. Supreme Court vacancy and create a likely reliable Supreme Court majority to enforce the right to religious freedom?
